Diane M. Janosek is CEO of Janos LLC and is a dedicated cybersecurity leader, author, and sought-after speaker. She focuses on the intersection of law, policy, and technology in data governance, cyber, compliance, & privacy. She can be seen in the Women Know Cyber documentary. Has published dozens of cyber, legal, compliance and leadership articles. Over 100 keynotes including RSAC, DEFCON, Forum in Cyber North America & Black Hat.

Served in U.S. Defense Intelligence Senior Exec Service at NSA. Was Commandant Nat’l Cryptologic Univ, Deputy Dir Compliance, CISO, and exec positions as Chief Legal Officer Privacy & Civil Liberties Oversight Bd, and Legal Counsel at White House & Pentagon. Has J.D and PhD (Cyber Leadership); admitted to U.S. Supreme Ct; & certified in info security (CISSP) & ethics and compliance (LPEC). Was on White House’s Fed Comm on STEM Education. She is Exec Dir of Capitol Tech Center for Women in Cyber and serves on Bd of Advisors for Mil Cyber Prof. Assoc.

She has multiple awards; a few are 2023 Cybersecurity Power List, 2021 Cybersecurity Woman Leader the Year, 2020 Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity, 2019 Cyber Warrior & Hall of Fame Info Systems Security Assoc Int’l.
